Tri-Valley Seek & Save

The Tri-Valley Seek & Save’s core Mission is to share The Gospel – the saving power of Christ crucified and raised from the grave so that we are raised as well, with all we are serving and those who help us.

Please click on the Gospel/Testimony link above to view the Gospel in Spanish & English, along with six TVSS missionary testimonies and how Christ has given each a New Heart and Hope.

A secondary focus is to disciple and train all missionaries and those baptized to produce fruit for The Kingdom.

The Lord has called us to primarily fellowship with At-Risk/Low-Income single moms to prevent them from losing their children in the foster care system. TVSS comes to those in need, much like a family would come alongside their loved ones. We provide immediate stabilization through prayer and action with our robust faith-based community. We have a network of 200 individuals designated as Missionaries and organizations standing ready to intercede on behalf of these marginalized families in many ways depending on the specific needs and circumstances. Gal. 5:14- Mission verse- "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself."

Tri-Valley Seek and Save receives funding from individual donors, churches, corporations, civic organizations, fund-raising events, and board members.

  4. Permanent Housing Resources TVSS has five volunteer housing missionaries who encourage our families to take decisive action in applying for permanent housing programs. Our missionary walks with them step by step to help them navigate this complex process. There are many success stories on this front, and we are thankful for the available programs. We will also support/fund relocation if a family or person can move to an area where they have family or friends that will help them.

  5. Therapy- We have two Marriage & Family Christian Therapists available to support women and men in crisis. People are seen within 48 hours of being referred. We fund an average of 15 sessions per month with our partner Cornerstone Fellowship.

Christocracy

Adhocracy with Christ at the head and dependent upon the leading of the Holy Spirit

Definition of Adhocracy: A flexible, adaptable, and informal organizational structure without bureaucratic policies or procedures.

Adhocracy is a form of business management that emphasizes individual initiative and self-organization in order to accomplish tasks. This is in contrast to bureaucracy which relies on a set of defined rules and set hierarchy in accomplishing organizational goals.

Donate or Serve

We need to be the hands and feet of Jesus. To serve impoverished, vulnerable individuals, children & families, and victimized young and their families, regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We take the initiative to seek and serve families in their homes, schools, foster placement, homeless living locations, shelters, and community-based organizations. Join us.

We comfort, encourage, and edify those suffering and struggling children, moms, dads, and single people to address and invest in their physical needs, emotional states, and future success.

Tenants of Faith

We accept the scriptures as our only authority in matters of faith and practice, and our interpretation of Bible doctrine leads us inevitably to believe:

  • The Old and New Testament scriptures are verbally inspired by God and inerrant and infallible in the original writings, and they are of supreme and final authority.

  • In one God eternally existing in one essence, yet co-equal persons, the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • That Jesus Christ was begotten by God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born to the virgin Mary.

  • In the Holy Spirit, the Trinity's third-person convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.

  • That mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that human beings are born with a sinful nature.

  • That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified based on His shed blood.

  • In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven and His present life there as High Priest and Advocate for us.

  • In the blessed hope, which is the personal, visible and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • All who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and heirs of eternal life.

  • In the existence of a personal devil, who is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men and that he and all his angels and all who do not receive Christ as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire.

  • The ordinances of the Church, given by the Lord, are Baptism and the Lord's Table (Communion).
